I am

I am the small arachnid in the corner
with my tiny web
waiting for my lunch
I am the two small black buzzing bugs
flying around the clear window
unknowingly
peacefully
I am the two bugs that do not know
that miss spider waits
closely and intently below them
hungry
I am the light song of a bird
hidden in the bright green leaves
on the tree that I am
outside the window
I am the leaves beginning to rustle
and down my trunk
suddenly
scampers the squirrel that I am
I am the sound of a car
coming slowly closer
and I am the squirrel running back
up the trunk
of the tree
that I am
I get out of the car
shut the door
and lock myself up
with a beep
I then walk
to the calligraphy room across the way
I am the room
seen through the window
in the back of the classroom
I am the people whispering
and the writing utensils
clicking in all different ways
as they begin to touch
the paper
which I am
I am the chairs
creaking
as the people that I am
turn and try to observe
other parts of the room
that I also am
I am the tapping of feet
and the slight jitter
of a hand
trying to find
the right words to describe
the thoughts
that I am
in greatest detail
I am the person turned
away
looking down
fiddling
I am another heel tapping
against the hard ground
I am the seekers and sandls
on peoples' feet
I am the bare feet next to me
I am the ant on the floor
next to the bare feet
crawling towards the small arachnid
that I am
sitting in the corner
with my tiny web
waiting
for my lunch
