we can't explain them so we regret
ever believing that they were real
though deep down they do appeal
feeling that dark sensation of loss
or hearing the voice talking of the cross
lost in a world all alone
they communicate with no way home
demons or angels we can't tell
but we do know what we experienced well
for who's one to forget
that one moment it hit
you that you are not alone
